With Mediaflow Design Generator, you can in a simple and efficient way, create locally adapted and brand-secured communication material. The templates can be accessed from within Mediaflow or from a Mediaflow Portal.
To use design templates in Mediaflow or in a Mediaflow Portal, you need a subscription license for Design Generator.
What does the template cost depend on?
Because the templates are tailored to your needs and unique documents, these need to be programmed by us at Mediaflow. The cost of developing a template is therefore in relation to our efforts. The rule of thumb is that the more complex the templates are, the greater the effort on our part.
The final number of templates does not affect the cost - sometimes we create several template variants and sometimes we build several options in one template. The starting point for how the template is built is based on the user-friendliness and the possible limitations that exist in the Design Generator.
Parameters that contribute to complexity in templates:
- Number of variable / editable elements.
- Number of pages.
- Number of options in a template (eg different layout variants)
- Many customization options (eg multiple choices of font sizes, colors, etc.).
- Many element-dependent (eg that texts have to be moved depending on input in other text blocks).
- Multiple or advanced validation of the user's text entry (eg to check the correct entry of telephone numbers, etc.).
Good to know about template art
- In the process of developing templates, we make a time estimate that is the basis for the template's cost. This is done on the basis of your documentation, which consists partly of documents and partly of an order specification.
- The process of developing templates includes a start-up meeting, a couple of proofreading turns and a dedicated contact person from our side. The time we spend on these things is included in your license and extra costs for this will not be added to the template cost. In order for the process to be efficient, we expect to have a contact person as a counterpart on your side who approves the templates and collects any comments etc.
- The design generator is constantly evolving and new functions are continuously added to the platform. These updates are included in the license and do not incur any additional costs. In some cases, however, a cost may arise. This if the new functionality means that the template code must be updated and republished.
- Any changes and updates in previously published templates are handled as a new order.
- Once you have accepted the cost of the templates, we plan the production in our delivery team. Normally, we start work on the templates within two weeks at the earliest.
